Following the news that Ryan Farquhar and Keith Amor are coming out of retirement for the 2014 Isle of Man TT, it has been confirmed by the Newsletter that they will both race at the Tandragee 100 in May.
The duo, who both retired in 2012, announced in December that they would be racing at the TT for Farquhar’s KMR Kawasaki team in the Supertwins class. “I just want to go and enjoy myself on the bike I like best,” Farquhar said at the time. “I’m not putting any pressure on myself.” They will now also appear at the Tandragee 100 at the start of May. Farquhar will appear in the Supertwins class on his ER6 Kawasaki. He will also be running a Moto450 and a 500cc Paton in the classic race. Amor will ride a KMR Kawasaki 650 in the Supertwins as well as running his own 600cc at the event.
Farquhar is third in terms of all time wins at Tandragee with 12 to his name, one shy of Brian Reed’s total of 13. The races take place on the 2nd and 3rd of May.
