It wouldn’t be road racing without the weather playing its part in proceedings. On day three of TT action just the Lightweight class have set qualifying times so far.
On Monday the session was cancelled completely due to wind and rain, meaning riders missed their first opportunity to get out on the Mountain Course on Superbikes, Superstock, and Supersport. It also took away another opportunity for newcomers to get more running completed having got a run on Saturday evening.
Tuesday was a brighter day but as practice approached the weather got worse meaning that the Clerk of the Course declared it an untimed session. First of all the Superbike, Superstock and Supersport classes got a session before Lightweights got out again. The Lightweight session was brought to an early end and the Sidecar class was cancelled completely due to the wind and rain.
Practice is set to run again tomorrow – weather permitting!
