Full two day schedule in store for Barry Sheene Festival at Oliver’s Mount

This weekend will see riders return to action at the popular Oliver’s Mount circuit for the Barry Sheene Festival. The event is this year being sponsored by Suzuki and will see a number of top name riders including recent first time TT winner Ivan Lintin take to the Scarborough roads.

Lintin will be joined by Dean Harrison, James Cowton, and Daley Mathison who is making his return from an injury sustained at the North West 200. Heading up the Classic race entrants are Ryan Farquhar – who took a hat-trick of victories at last year’s event – and Lee Johnston, fresh off the back of two TT podiums and his fastest ever lap of the mountain course. Lintin, Farquhar, Harrison and Johnston were amongst the podium finishers at the Spring Cup earlier in the year. The festival will run over two days and as well as featuring a number of races fans will get the opportunity to join Q & A sessions with Jim Redman and Mick Grant daily.
