William Dunlop came away from the Post TT races at Billown with two victories.
The Ballymoney man had a difficult TT fortnight after an accident in practice. He secured a podium in the TT Zero race – his best result of the week. He finished eighth in the first Supersport race before pulling out of the second due to his back and wrist injuries. He rode his Yamaha to victory in the 600cc race at the Post TT races, beating Jamie Coward by just under two seconds. Robert Wilson completed the podium positions with Andy Dudgeon fourth and Mark Parrett fifth.
James Cowton – who retired from the 600 race – was the winner in the 250/650cc race beating Coward and Rob Hodson. Adrian Harrison finished fourth with Dudgeon in the top five again.
In the third and final race of the meeting – the 1100cc race – Dunlop was victorious once again with a very comfortable 28 second win over Ryan Kneen. Hodson took another podium finish ahead of Parrett and Anthony Redmond. Dunlop broke the outright lap record during the final race, completing a 110.591mph lap.
